Lending Money to a Friend

Can I take a ''friend'' to small claims court, if they do not pay back money that was lent to them?

Yes, as long as the amount is below the limit of the small claims court, and as long as the court has jurisdiction over the person. The rules on jurisdiction can be a bit tricky...so be careful and read the instructions for detail.
