Legal Question in Immigration Law in New York

evidence of living together

Hi team, my cuban partner and i have been together for 18 months. While living in Cuba i stayed at his house illegally instead of going to a Casa Particular/hotel. My visa requires us to show evidence that we have been living together ie bills under our names etc but Cuba does everything via paper and cash, there is no audit trail on anything. What other ways can we prove we were living together the entire time? Cheers, Julia

Re: evidence of living together

You need to be more specific in terms of the U.S. immigration benefit you are applying for.

The outline in your e-mail regarding your immigration situation that you provided is not sufficient for me to provide you with a clear answer.

I would need more information regarding your particular case before I can comment on it properly.

However, the only way of proving your case is as you have stated with the proper documentation.
