Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

1 1/2 years ago I ended a relationship with a guy I was seeing who was an HR Manager. Right before we ended things, he helped me create a "fake resume" that landed me a job I didn't have the qualifications for.

2 days ago, my supervisor and the HR Director received an anonymous link to Myspace.com that contained a profile with my pictures and information as well as several blogs that admitted that I lied on my resume and went into detail about how I had been fired from other companies.

Needless to say, I didn't create this profile and I have strong suspicion that my ex did using old pictures, then pretended to write blogs in my "voice" admitting to lying on my resume and being fired from certain jobs. I got fired from my job for unethical behavior after being questioned about what was contained in the blogs.

Do I have any recourse? I don't have any proof it was my ex, can I get a warrant to search his computer/internet? Can I sue?

You did not give enough facts for me to determine is you have no claim for sexual harassment. However, it appears that you may have a case given the developments subsequent to your departure form your previous employer. You may contact me directly for more information. On the other hand, you should contact My Space and let them know that you may be the victim of identity theft. Best wishes.
