Employer withheld wages

What legal recourse do you have when the you are employed by a Village and the the Mayor refuses to pay you for hours worked?

Contact the state Labor Dept. Also contact the village Attorney. He may be able to help. Better yet have your attorney write a letter to the Village Attorney and cc the Mayor. Finally, a well placed call to the media might move things along as well.
