Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

i was terminated in dec. 2009 for something i did'nt do was accused of not reporting an incident later on showed i had phone records showing i did report the incident try to deny my unemployment benefits after many hearing with the ui (had to postpone many hearing because of their tatics) was awarded ui benefits what was even more humiliating the day they suspended me they tape it(i understand this was legal) to humiliate me even more m'gmt edited the tape depicted me as a gangster an employee some how not in m'gmt is only a security guard got a hold of the tape and sent it to me which is still in my possession.

If the company is spreading false information about you or disseminating private material (such as a private recording of your termination), you may have a case against them, particularly if these private materials were given to non-management individuals.

But more facts are needed to determine the merits of your case and if this is a case of something larger -- such as discrimination.
