my wife went in for colonospkey doctor ruptured splene did not know sent home call doc said she will be ok just gas passed out several times called back doc said give her maylok kepp passing out called 911 sent to trama surgrey removal of splene and section of sm int do we have case trama surgen said doc did it 9 units blood was bleeding out 2 hr away from trama center suren said about 1hr left befor she would have died

With a copy of the discharge summary and a brief conversation with you, I could probably tell you whether this is a situation in which a lawsuit might be worth your time.

There was a form that your wife almost definitely signed before the colonoscopy called a consent form. It lists all of the possible risks including death. That a bad thing happened is not always enough.

For a lawsuit to be successful, we would need to establish that a thing happened that would not have happened if the doctor acted in accordance with the standard of care.
