Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New York

misdiagnos of meningitus

my child at 4months was taken to our local hospital with a fever of 105.4. the doctor did blood work and said she had a red throat. nothing more was done other then sending her home aon medication. next a.m. her temp was 89. when i called the hospital back , they said to discuss with her doctor at my sons doctor appointment that day. by the time we got her to the doctors office, she was really sick. her peditricain did a spinal tap and found she had meningitus h flu type b. sent to strong hospital for 6 weeks, now serverely brain damage. thank you
