Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

non-atty offering non legal opinion. Ethics

Can a former lawyer, now a non-lawyer offer advice as to whether or not a persons case is moving along normally and if the lawyer is a bit lax as to where the case should be? It is more of a status issue. No legal opinion or advice is given.

I am going to leave this question to the bar.

There are a lot of issues that need to be addressed, such as, why is the person no longer admitted.

I would not take the advice from a non-lawyer regarding how a case is moving along. Especially because you do not know why that non-lawyer is not a lawyer anymore.
