Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Before my attorney was dismissed, she put in opposition papers to the plaintiffs motion to confirm referee's report and for a judgment of foreclosure. The plaintiffs has just given notice that they intend to withdraw the first motion and substitute another motion of the same because of defects that was pointed out in our first answer. The question I have is do I need to respond to this new motion, if we already responded to the first motion, thanks.
