Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

There is a fence between my neighbors and my property. A small chain link fence. I have a garden that runs alongs this fence line for the last 20 years. I recently also dig the ground up and ran a sprinkler system. Recently the neighbor has made overtures that his property runs six inches past where the fence currently sits. I have maintained and taleken care of this six inched for the last 23 years. Raking leaves,,mowing,,gardening..etc. Do I have a adverse possession case here.
