Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

trees over property line

Neighbor has several trees on his side of line, but branches hang over into my yard. This effects use of my property, use of swimming pool, patio deck etc. I would like to have them trimmed at MY expense with his permission. Do I also have rights in this case?

you may have them trimmed over your property without consent.
