Bench warrants

Can i be legally arrested at work after a bench warrant was issued for failure to appear in court for a traffic infraction?

Yes. A bench warrant is a warrant for your arrest issued by a judge of the criminal court.

It is enforceable at any time and at any place inside the State of New York. 24/7 inside NY state by any law enforcement person.

If the warrant was issued by a criminal or district court judge,you can be picked up on that warrant at any time anywhere. If the case originated in a traffic violation bureau jurisdiction,then you can not be arrested but your license can and was suspended.
