Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

Disobeyed a Traffic Control Device

I was given the above ticket for moving to the right lane to avoid graded pavement (several mini speed bumps in successiuon). I cannot find this statute (Violation 1110A) on the NY Violations Bureau and also all examples on the web include other violations. Can you point me to wher I can find this NY ? and if there has ever been a successful prosecution of such violation when it is not accompanied by more serious violations?

Re: Disobeyed a Traffic Control Device

The statute and specific section 1110a is in the vehicle and traffic law. I have defended many violations of this nature and have adjudicated in excess of 1000 as a Traffic Court Judge. There are many convictions based upon legal and factual guilt. The officer's testimony compared to the defense determines the outcome.
