Re: Traffi ticket

If you want to represent yourself, read the directions usually on on the rear of the ticket, and plead not guilty. "Check" the box on the ticket to demand the supporting deposition and get it back to the address indicated.

Good luck.

Re: Traffi ticket

You can look at articles on the Internet that deal with handling cases in traffic court. YOur local law library very likely has a book on Traffic cases. (The one by David Mansfield is very good.)

OTOH, as your case is more than just a ticket but also a car accident that may result in a law suit for a soft tissue injury, winning your traffic case is of paramount importance. Hence you should truly discuss with your insurance carrier if they have assigned a lawyer to your claim, and if so, if that lawyer will represent you. If not you should think about hiring one yourself to help avoid a conviction that will then further destroy your insurability.

If you wish to speak to our office about retaining an attorney, you may contact me by following the links below.

Remember being penny-wise in a case like this could cost you many dollars more (than it would now to hire counsel) in the future.

Good Luck.
