Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Contesting a Will

My husband has an inoperable though not lethal brain tumor. He needs daily assistance. His parents recently passed away and due to an argument with me two years ago, his mother only left him a token $5000. The last 2 years his mom has suffered from dementia and I believe would have changed the will had she been reminded. They have been in our home to stay a few days in the last couple years. The court has appointed a guardian ad litem for my husband since he cannot represent himself. I have been advised to hire an attorney. Sister and brother got the whole estate. Please help.
