Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

If an out of state judgment creditor wants to view a private trust document in New York State in order to try to discover the assets of the judgment debtor, would that creditor need to file a new lawsuit in a court in New York State (against the trustee or trustor or possibly even the law firm which prepared the trust) or could an out of state judge issue an order pursuant to the judgment to compel one of the above parties (none of whom were defendants in the original out of state lawsuit) to release a copy of the trust to the creditor?

If you do not wish to voluntarily produce the document, they would need a NY Court order.
