Legal Question in DUI Law in North Carolina

habitual felon

Im going to court next week for my third dui.The police caught me and my girlfriend trying to get out of a ditch. She was in the driver seat but i was told that i took the blame.I dont remember saying anything.I told my lawyer to ask the officer who was first on the scene who did he see driving. My lawyer said it wouldnt help the case.I just found out that my lawyer is my girls regular lawyer.Im starting to think he is looking out for her best interest. He is also her lawyer in this case.I blew a 1.8 three hours later. How much time am i looking at with a lawyer and without one.

Re: habitual felon

Max time is 2 years if you have 2 priors in 7 years. With an atty you might get less but this is very short notice on a complex and expensive case.
