Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

After mediation, after temp custody hearing, and during the current custody trial, I was accused of being a habitual "pot" smoker. The evidence was only a witness, who only heard that I did this three tears ago, and before the birth of our child... How can this be taken seriously? (and it was)oh I have no history, nor do I engage in this behavior.

This is really up to whom the judge believes. It sounds like you need to discuss this with your attorney and if you don't have one, you might want to consider hiring counsel.
