i live in nc i worked a twelve hour shift last thurs clocked out then they hit me with a drug test it has not came back yet but later when i looked someone clocked me back in but i heard in my state they can not tell me to work over twelve can i use this to mabye make them think of firing me

I didn't quite understand your question, but there is no maximum hours you are allowed to work unless you are a minor (under 18) or in a regulated field such as truck driving.
