Apartment Lease issues because of ex-girlfriend
I have Six more months on my apartment lease, and my exgirl friend packed up and left one day. Both of our names are on the lease. I can not afford the apartment bt myself. The apartment people said I will have to pay at least 3 months of rent in order to break the lease. Can I get out of the lease without paying 3 months of rent, or can I make my exgirlfriend still pay half the rent while I stay there for the remaining six months? Thank you for your time and I would greatly appreciate any advice you have.

Need to see lease, but you're both likely to be stuck, unless you can negotiate a cancellation, or find alternate tenant.
