do it your self wills and poa legal if done over the net?

I'm taking care of my mother, and trying to save money. Is it legal to do wills and power of attorney over an internet programs?

There is nothing illegal about it. Whether it is advisable is an entirely different question. Internet programs cannot give you legal advice and what you do could have consequences that you did not intend. If you are going to do it yourself, I would advise you to research NC laws on wills including the execution procedures.
