If I have a workers comp case in lets say Maryland and I move to North Carolina what benefits transfer or can I file a intrastate claim?

Re: Relocation

Too little information to tell for sure, but likely UNABLE to transfer claim unless NC Industrial Commission can exercise jurisdiction over the case. However, Maryland benefits should continue despite the move.

Get more info on NCIC from their website, which can be linked from our site at ncworkcomp.com. Good luck!
