Re: surgery or not?

The decision as to whether the risk is worth the benefit is always yours in consultation with your doctor. I have won similar cases. No doc in his right mind is going to operate on you if you do not consent. www.ncworkcomp.com

Good luck.

Re: surgery or not?

I do not believe they can force you to take the surgery. However, you may otherwise be at maximum medical improvement.

Among other things, like consulting an experienced attorney, you need to make sure you have access to long-time medical care with a properly filed/approved Form 18M.

Go to the NC Industrial Commission website for more info/docs (Bulletin). You can link there from our site at ncworkcomp.com. Good luck!
