Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
A few days ago my house was broken into. Since we are moving it have really just been me at the residence. While I was out helping a friend is when it happened. I called a few people who I thought could have done it and said their was a reward and sure enough the people who I though did it responed ( my ex's father and his girlfriend) and the nexted day they had two of the many things missing. The next day they started being rude and threatening. I have the woman on a recording saying she had my stolen stuff and had more stolen stuff at her house. We also have a written statement saying they saw the man carrying stuff to the car, said the time of day, what he was wearing and discribed the car. Finally we have a text message from my ex's father to his brother saying "I have to clean out this house before tehy get home". Most of the stuff is things left from family member who had passed. My question is where should I go from here? How do I legally go about this? What's the next step and other advice you can give.

File a complaint with the police.
