Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

can anyone look at my juvenile record

i am 28 yrs old and applying for a job in law enforcement..they state in app. that no felony's ever....when i was 13-14 i don something and got in trouble and i am not sure if it was a felony can the police dept that i am applying for look it up?? the lady at court house told me that my case isn't in there new system the would have to dig deep to even find it...should i get it sealed??

A "conviction" as a juvenile is not a felony even if the action would be a felony if committed by an adult.

The juvenile complaint would be a delinquency charge. You may be able to get the Juvenile case sealed but I do not think that is going to make a difference.

If the question on the application is if you have ever been convicted of a felony and the only "conviction" is when you were 13-14 then you can honestly say you have ever been convicted of a felony.
