US citizen divorce over seas

Hello, I'm a US citizen who is planning on moving to UAE very soon. I would like to file for divorce when I am over there. Can I file for a legal divorce from my husband who is a US citizen living in Ohio from the UAE and have it go through legally?

The answer to that question is based on the law in the UAE. Generally speaking, if the law in the UAE grants you a divorce, Ohio will honor the divorce order.
