Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My husband left in August 2012 and has not supported our (2) children. I need to verify that until divorce papers are final and child support begins, he is not responsible for his half of on going daycare expenses or any child support. Is this correct?

That is ordinarily true, but it can be part of the negotiations when the divorce is filed.. In order start child support immediately (without filing for divorce), you can set it up with the child support enforcement agency in your county.
