Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

What are my options re: bio grandparents & bio dad

My ex-husband had parental rights terminated when son was 7. Ex has had no contact w/son since age 4. Ex has history of drug/alcohol abuse. Son was adopted by current husband but has maintained contact with bio father's parents. Now son is 15 and bio-grandparents want to arrange a reunion between bio dad (just out of rehab) and my 15 yr old son. I have refused. 15 yr old doesn't care either way but I would rather wait until ex has history of sobriety. I suspect grandparents plan to arrange reunion despite my wishes. What are my options?

Unless there is a court order to the contrary, it is your call whether your son sees his paternal grandparents, let alone the biological father. I suggest you make your position clear to the grandparents. If you think that contact is appropriate at some future time, you are the one to set the terms.
