paternal custody

My fiance' and i have lived together 7 years and are separating.We have a 4 year old daughter and i wish to gain primary custody.I am on the birth certificate and have provided the home and paid for all living expenses for all three of us from the beginning.My credit rating is fantastic and i am the one with savings in the bank.My partner has always had a job but contributed nothing and her credit is not so good.What are my chances of gaining custody?

Based on what you have told me your chances are very good. However, Ohio follows the best interest of the child standard in deciding which parent gets primary custody. There are numerous factors that go into this determination. I strongly suggest that you contact an attorney to assist you in this.
