Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Paternity testing

How can I go about getting a paternity test done when the mother refuses? I have no visitation at this time. I signed an affidavit of paternity over a year ago and am paying cild support, but the mother has since told me that I am not the father, but also refuses to agree to a paternity test. Thanks for any information you can give me! The child and mother reside in Huron county, Ohio.

Re: Paternity testing

You need to file a motion with the Huron County Juvenile Court under Ohio Revised Code 3111 to have the court order a paternity test. I would also ak the court for a reasonable isitation schedule in the meantime.
