Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

What exactly is a residential and legal custodian's rights

I have custody of my cousin's 2 yr old daughter. The child was taken by children services and placed with me. My cousin wanted to sign custody to me. she has not been in her childs life for over 7 months and 2 weeks ago she called and said she wanted her child back. now she is pregnant ( 2 months after her child got taken from her). she has no home or job. is there a chance that she could get her back . the child was severly underweight, dirty, etc, ect., now she is going to have another kid in april. the court is stark county ohio and said i was the residential and legal custodian, does this protect me from having to give the child back?

Re: What exactly is a residential and legal custodian's rights

You are completely free to keep the child, until such time as the court issues another order regarding the child. You cannot alter the arrangements without further order. You continue to have ultimate responsibility for the child.
