Re: vurble contracts

Dear Inquirer:

In Ohio, as in most other states, verbal (oral or spoken) contracts are enforceable. However, Courts will require a higher degree of proof than for contracts in writing. And, your eyewitnesses will be very important to testify to what was agreed upon.

Your claims may also be limited or barred by time. That is, oral contracts are enforceable for only six (6 )years after the date of contract or agreement. After that your claims are barred by operation of law called Statute of Limitations.

Please consult an experienced Attorney to assist you. Good luck!

Sincerely, J. Norman Stark, Cleveland, Ohio.
