Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

I work for a company who tows cars and I drive a roadback for the company to pick up cars. Well they sent me to a rough neighborhood in dayton ohio with a lot of crime and often they have robberies on a daily basis. I was sent there to tow a car with cash money and i was held a gun point and they also roughed me up quite a bit. since then i have nightmares and cant sleep. It seems like no matter what I do I just cant shake it and cant get ahold of myself to get back to normal. So I was wondering if you thought I had a case or a law suit against the company. By the way they did not find the guy who did it but the guy that had the car that needed towed called the company and asked if they paid with check or cash. The guy with the car had the company to come after he found out it was cash once I got there I was robbed so i figured it was a set up deal.

You should consider filing for worker's compensation. This may be an injury suffered on the job that could be covered under that system. Check with a Dayton Attorney. Sometimes if your claim should be a worker's comp claim, you cannot file a lawsuit against the company. Other times, you can both file for worker's comp and file a lawsuit. You need to speak with a personal injury attorney in your area to find out what you can do.
