Legal Question in International Law in Ohio

My son is US citizen by naturaliszation, and his fiancee is US citizen by birth. Currently they both live in Ohio. They want to get married on a trip abroad in a private ceremony. What country they can go to get married, which will be consider legal marriage after they will come back to United States?

There are many countries in Caribbean, Central and Latin America where Americans often get married. If marriage confirms with the laws of the place of marriage, it will be recognized in the USA.

I suggest, they speak with a local family lawyer. And prior to that, do research online.
