Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

I work at a hospital and this week 3 people who work in my area found out that we could possibly be terminated for using the computer for personal reasons. No R-rated things, no pornography, no games. I was looking at obituaries, looking for coupons, some gossip magazine sights. I know one of the other girls was doing her school work for college. I know after witnessing things with my own eyes, that a vast majority of the people we work with use computers for personal use, not just us, but the woman I talked with in HR didn't seem to care about that. I also have a feeling this could be happening to deal with over staffing issues?

My legal questions is: Can they legally fire us, even though there are so many others who do exactly what we do? And also, we got word of what was happening today (a Monday) and they are not going to meet with us until the Thursday of next week. Are we expected to come to work even though we could be terminated?
