Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Ohio

Infected Vasectomy

My husband had a vasectomy and four days later he is in the hospital with a life-threatening strep AND staph infection. He now has something called a PICC I.V. which runs from his arm all the way to his heart because the massive antibiotics that he is on is burning up his veins. I was wondering if there is any grounds for suing for lost wages, pain and suffering. He is the only means of support for our family. We were told this was a routine procedure and he could go back to work in a few days. It's going on two weeks since he has been able to work. Please let me know if this is worth pursuing a lawsuit. Thank you.

Re: Infected Vasectomy

You should definitely pursue this when the time comes...you have a year...There's no way of knowing who did what wrong at this point, but you should consult with an attorney now.
