Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

I am currently renting a home and I discovered that the property is in foreclosere. The property owner has not notified me as of yet, but I found this information through the clerk of courts in my area after becoming suspicious due to the owner not responding to the building inspecteors request to make repairs. My question is due I haave to continue to pay the monthy rent to the owner? And Is he obligated to keep the water utility connected in his name untill the foreclosure is final?

Dear Renter: If your owner does not pay the water bill, it will likely be shut off. And if you don't pay the rent, you will likely be evicted. In either event, begin looking for another place to rent.

Good luck. sincerely, J. Norman Stark.
