Motion to vacate

How long does a judge have to answer a motion to vacate a judgment entry. Are there appeals processes in place if the judge does not vacate the entry?

Re: Motion to vacate

There is no time limit for the judge to rule. Be careful. If you are going to appeal the decision, you need to do it within the time allotted beginning from when the final order is time-stamped (I believe within 30 days). If you wait until the decision for the motion to vacate, you will only be able to appeal the ruling on the motion, as you will be out of time as to the final order you are asking to vacate.
