what is ,waiver of notice of probate of will,mean? if its signed what does that mean for me?(the daughter of deceased..)he has 5 adult children.. also there was a will and an amendment w it.but admendment wasnt with the will mailed to me ,so should i sign anything that isnt showin accurate or updated information. the will shows one brother getten house amendment shows a different brother. my brother got him different lawyer ,seems like he only took info he wanted new lawer to see,is there anything to worry about.and whats this waiver i got with out the full will file'

Waiver of notice, if you sign it, means you will not receive formal notice that the will was filed with the Probate court. The will and codicil (amendment) are public record and you can check what has been filed.

All beneficiaries with standing can still contest. The period for contesting the wiii (3 mo.) begins when beneficiaries are notified of probate of will, or have waived notice.
