Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oklahoma

Senior neighbors having problems with a neighbor

We need some help in dealing with a neighbor and her son harrassing our good neighbors which are 76 years old. Is there any organizations for senior citizens living in Oklahoma, that can help these people? The police have done anything that they can do and now it is just a matter of time before someone gets hurt or killed. What would it take to get a VPO?

Re: Senior neighbors having problems with a neighbor

A civil suit can be filed along with the filing of a Victims Protection Order (VPO), particularly, if they have witnesses that can provide statements or testimony and a hostile and stressful environment or infringement is being created by this neighbor, they are trespassing on their property and their health and safety is being adversely affected by their actions or behaviors. However, we also recommend documentating these actions or behaviors with pictures, videos, dates and times so they can be presented as proof of this harrassment; if they plan to sue to pursue a VPO.
