Legal Question in Family Law in Oklahoma

divorce

I divorced 6 years ago and he

got everything. I found out he

filed bankruptcy and now they

are coming after me to pay

credit card debt. the decree

stated he would pay off the

debt. Am I responsible ?

The short answer is probably. The creditors don't care where they get their money. If you had a legal obligation to pay them and your ex husband filed bankruptcy even though the Decree stated he would pay the debt, the creditor(s)are not bound by your divorce decree. Sorry!
