If a person does not have finances to fight a civil suit what avenues are there for defense?

A paupas or indigent application or form can be file declaring that you do not have the income to apply to your legal litigation or defense. This form can be obtained by the court or attorney handling your case and will result in an attorney being assigned to your case.
