Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oklahoma

Eviction

I recently inherited some property from my grandmother who passed away. My grandmother purchased a relative a mobile home and allowed him to stay on the property while she was with us. Now that I have inherited this land am I able to ''evict'' him from the property? The mobile home is his I just want him off the property.

Re: Eviction

Land occupancy is dependent upon whether there is a lease or not. If no lease, then you may evict anyone who is there without your permission. You absolutely must follow the law, however. You cannot use force, cannot lock them out, and cannot take personal action which would infringe their rights in any way. Consult a local lawyer for how eviction is accomplished if the party won't leave voluntarily.
