Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Oklahoma

Is it normal procedure to name one of your children as a trustee of your trust that was filed in Oklahoma but name another as excecutor of your will that was filed in Oklahoma? What makes this complicated is the trust was set up primarily for the land in Texas my mother inherited. (My mother was a resident of Oklahoma).

The grantor may do what they wish to in a Trust. Your mother may appoint an executor distinct from the Trustee.
