Is that legal??

my xhuband open an checking account in his name with an atm card that has his name on it but, wants to send the card to our son .He then want to stop paying child support because he will be sending the payments to this new account that has his name not our son or mine to our son. Is that legal ??

To stop child support to me and sent them to our son and not straight to me ??

ANSWER:

NO, this is not legal. Contact your local county District Attorney's child support enforcement office or the the local office of the the state's Division of Child Support. They will assist you in getting the problem straightened out.
