broken wedding engagment
My same sex partner broke off our engagement. Am I able to recoup any costs as to wedding gowns, rings, bridal supplies, etc? We wer e having a unity ceremony in pa and a marriage in Mass.

I think it would be difficult for you to do so because same sex marraiges are against public policy in PA. However, you may be able to approach it as a general contract action. Good luck.

you may be able to sue. this is an interesting question. for me the issue is more practical than theoretical. how much are you out of pocket? that is really the question: is it worth it to sue?
