Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

credit card cosigner

How can I get my name off my daughter's credit card that I cosigned 9 years ago? I was told she had to cancel it but after 5 months hasn't done so yet.

Re: credit card cosigner

Write to the credit card company certified mail return receipt stating effective immediately you will not be responsible for any new debt on this account.

You will still be responsible for the outstanding balance and any interest until it is paid off.

Good luck to you,
