Being Sued by Capital One Credit Card
what is statue of limitation?
Re: Being Sued by Capital One Credit Card
My view is slightly different than Mr. Flood's opinion. I don't think the credit card company's cause of action accrues until the first default in payment since that would be the first time that the credit card company could sue.

Typically, the statute of limitations in a contract matter (which a credit card suit would be) is 4 years. So, in this matter, it would be four years from the date that you last used the card.
Our firm handles contract defense suits. In addition, we handle bankruptcy.
