Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

I was on the ARD program for a DUI in 10/2010. I was unable to pay off the fine and complete the class due to being unemployed for the whole year, and now that I have just found a job and am able to pay they year is over and they want to take me off ARD and resubmit the original DUI charge to trial. I would be able to pay off the fine by the end of novembert and the classes also, but the trial is slated for the 19th of Oct and I can't find my old Lawyers phone #! I'm in a real bind!

You would have to get the DA to give you some sort of an extension to allow you to do this. You probably should retain an attorney to assist because that would give you the best chance. If not, you will likely go to jail for 2-3 days if you plead guilty and lose your license for 1 year.

Please give me a call if you would like a free consult. Not sure what county your case is in based on the limited info you listed above.

Good luck
