Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Hello,

Please excuse any typos. My ex-wife and I divorsed on our own about two plus years ago. We did all the paper work ourselves. we have a 12 year son together and we have verbally agreed that I pick him up from school when possible and he comes to stay with me every other weekend. I pay her child support once to twice a month and pay for some necessities he needs. My question is; who has legal gaurdianship of him? Is there a default element here because he lives with his mother or do we share gaurdianship by default because we did not involve the court system?

Thank you

Smyth

As part of the divorce did you have custody addressed? If not you're still both the child's parents.

So you saved a few bucks on the divorce now you may have a problem as to custody and child support. This would have been cheaper to deal with 2 years ago. Though if you 2 can be agreeable and work out an agreement it doesn't have to been expensive to fix.
